About Rob
A scientist turned European Patent Attorney, with 29 years' experience in patent law, following a decade in scientific research.
Rob Docherty is a European Patent Attorney who founded Robin IP to offer something the large firms rarely can: genuine expertise and direct personal attention, every time. After a PhD in Mitochondrial Biogenesis and nearly a decade as a postdoctoral researcher at Oxford, Manchester, and the University of Texas, Rob understands the science behind the inventions he protects, not just the law around them.
Rob is a European Patent Attorney, registered with the European Patent Office and experienced in EP and international patent practice.
